Founders

Property Consultant - Tim Morgan

Tim Morgan

Co-Founder and CEO

As CEO, Tim looks after strategic elements of the business from identifying new locations and asset classes to sourcing new developer partners and building E.R.E’s introducer network.

Prior to starting E.R.E Property in 2004, Tim ran a financial recruitment business called ABPM Recruitment Solutions. Tim studied accounting and finance at Manchester Metropolitan University and started his career as a commercial analyst and then a management accountant.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“I love the team that we’ve put together and the culture at E.R.E. It’s always fun being with the team and going out for a beer with everyone.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I love mountain walking, running, and travelling to places that are off the beaten track. I also love going out and seeing friends, and spending time with my children and grandchildren whenever I can. And I’m a passionate Leeds United fan so I enjoy watching them when we’re winning.”

Property Consultant -Robert Medd

Robert Medd

Co-Founder and Director

Now based in Dubai, Robert is a director at E.R.E Property and co-founded the business with Tim in 2004. Robert is responsible for client investments, professional partnerships and growing the business. He is extremely hands on as a business owner and speaks to investor clients on a regular basis, answering questions about E.R.E and helping them with their investment choices.

After leaving school at 16, Robert spent 17 years selling steel, rising through the ranks to become one of the industry’s top salespersons. With his strength in sales, Robert teamed up with long-term friend Tim to launch E.R.E Property and was initially responsible for selling residential properties in emerging markets to UK investors.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“I am extremely passionate and proud of E.R.E and our team. I love watching the business grow, that’s what drives me and keeps me hooked. I’m enjoying life in Dubai and the challenge of making our new business here successful.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I love cycling and going to the gym. Now I live in Dubai, I have the beach and I enjoy paddleboarding. And I love my cars, I have a couple of old MGs that I’ve refurbished and enjoy racing at events.”

Property Consultant Helen Mercer-Jones - ERE Property

Helen Mercer-Jones

Managing Director

Helen joined E.R.E Property in 2017 as Finance Manager before being promoted to the role of Managing Director in 2019. Prior to joining, she held various finance roles including 16 years in IT and recruitment.

As managing director at E.R.E, Helen is involved in every facet of the business from sales and marketing to finance and recruitment. She is the conductor bringing the different departments together and helping them to work towards the same goal. Helen brings structure to ideas, find solutions to issues, and as a key decision-maker devises strategies for improving the financial performance of the business.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“I’m passionate about the brand that we’re building at E.R.E, and the fact that we’ve got through a lot of adversity over the years and are still standing. I like the energy and the potential of the business; we have a great team.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I like running and going to the gym. I like a challenge, whether its climbing Kilimanjaro or running a marathon. I also enjoy spending time with my children and grandchild.”

Property Consultant - Richard King - ERE Property

Richard King

Finance Director

Richard joined E.R.E Property as finance director in 2023 and is responsible for production of management accounts, year-end accounts, cash flow management and advising on reorganisation of the capital structure with the holding company moving to a Dubai-based company.

With an analytical mind and an eye for detail, Richard is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience. Having worked with different companies across sectors, including finance director roles for property development and housebuilding companies, he is commercially aware and sees the ‘bigger picture’. He has also been responsible for several company floatations on the London Stock Exchange.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“The exporting of ownership to the Dubai company is a new experience for me and one that I’m really enjoying. I’m working with accounting and legal professionals here and in Dubai to make sure that the transaction goes through smoothly. It’s a strategic role where I have to come up with solutions, so I really enjoy it. I also enjoy working with younger people and being challenged by them.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I’m a keen vegetable gardener and have converted a third of my garden into an allotment. I take a lot of pride in knowing that I’ve grown the vegetables that I eat and being self-sufficient. Also, I enjoy socialising and travelling.”

Management

Helen Bracewell - Property Investment Consultant

Helen Bracewell

Operations Manager

As operations manager, Helen is responsible for general support to the directors, overseeing the HR process and ensuring departments are working closely together. Helen joined E.R.E Property in 2024 from Maximus UK where she was sole business manager in charge of all operations for the employability department at their Dewsbury branch.

With a passion for property, Helen started her career in estate agency and worked as a lettings co-ordinator at Barkers Estate Agents and senior sales coordinator at Martin and Co. After a period away, Helen was keen to return to the property sector and brings a wealth of operations management and property experience to E.R.E.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?

“After a period away, I was keen to get back into property. It’s a sector I really enjoy working in. The team here at E.R.E is amazing, I’ve had such a welcome since joining. I know everyone here says it, but I really like the company’s ethos and customer focus.”

What do you like doing outside of work? 

“I like spending time with friends and family, going for long walks and pub lunches. My partner and I like adventurous driving experiences and travelling in general. I wouldn’t go as far as to say extreme sports, but we do like to push our boundaries a little.”

Property Consultant - Sophie Lane

Sophie Lane

Marketing Manager

As marketing manager at E.R.E Property, Sophie is responsible for managing group marketing, social media and comms, including coordination of the company’s new website and rebrand. Sophie joined E.R.E Property in 2019, initially as an acquisitions assistant.

Sophie obtained a first class honours degree in Business & Enterprise Management at Sheffield Hallam University. She has always had an entrepreneurial mindset and set up several business including a health food business and online bikini business, where she taught herself everything from website development, photography and marketing to processing orders and managing cash flow and profitability. Her passion for property began before she joined E.R.E and she has her own property investment projects outside of work.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“I like the culture. I get on with everyone and enjoy coming into work. I’m very interested in property so working at E.R.E has been an educational experience, which I’ve been able to apply in my own investments.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I like renovating houses and spend a lot of time doing that over the weekends. I also like charity shopping and upcycling. At the moment, I’m buying all sorts of things on Facebook Marketplace and sell them on for more just by staging and taking good photos.”

Arturs is a Dubai Sales Manager at E.R.E Property. He is responsible for selling off-plan and completed investment properties starting from as little as £150,000 to UK and international investors. Building strong relationships with new and existing clients, he sources investment opportunities that meet their requirements and investment strategy. Arturs is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and leads from the front by adapting quickly to an ever-changing market. Prior to joining E.R.E Property in 2021, Arturs worked in property lettings for 6 years, gaining valuable experience of the property industry.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“The work environment is great, we’re very flexible as a business. Another thing I like is our ethics, we don’t let our clients down. We don’t just let clients deal with things themselves, we do try to help them. Our owners are very hands on too, which also helps.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I like having a weekend getaway. I recently went to Milan and loved the boutique shops there. Or there’s Lake Garda if you’re looking for somewhere greener and more tranquil. I like cars. I’m a big fan of the Porsche 911 and drive an old Jaguar. I also like MMA and boxing.”

Adam Yaqub - Property Investment Consultant

Sales Manager UK

As investment sales manager, Adam is responsible for managing the investment sales team and helping clients start and build their property portfolios. His day-to-day role involves assisting and supporting the team, whilst following up with new leads and managing relationships with existing investors. He uses his experience to advise clients on their investment strategies and match opportunities to their requirements.

Adam joined E.R.E Property as a property investment consultant in 2023. He is experienced in property sales having previously worked at estate agent Preston Baker in various sales roles, including new homes sales.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“It’s a supportive company with a family vibe. Everyone’s approachable and there to help, including the senior leaders and owners. My voice is heard when I have concerns and they’ve given me the opportunity to move up in the company.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“Spending time with my wife and seeing family. I like hiking in the Yorkshire Dales. I’m a big rugby league and football fan. I’m born and bred in Leeds, so I follow Leeds Rhinos and Leeds United.”

Property Consultant Gabriella Mercer - ERE Property

Gabriella Mercer

After Sales Manager

Now After Sales Manager, Gabriella joined E.R.E Property in 2021 as a senior property manager in our lettings division. Managing the After Sales team, Gabriella is involved in all aspects of sales progression and customer care, from completions and exchanges to providing construction updates and handling complaints. She is hands-on, liaising directly with the developer, solicitors, and other stakeholders in the sales process.

Gabriella began her career in property back in 2017 when she took a property manager role at Manning Stainton. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and global development before undertaking a master’s degree in political economy and international development.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“I like how supportive and flexibility the company are. I have a young family and E.R.E have allowed me to work part-time and fit my schedule around childcare and school runs.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I have a dog, so I like going for walks – and spending time with the family of course.”

Property Consultant - Nabeela Afsar - ERE Property

Nabeela Afsar

Finance Manager

As finance manager at E.R.E Property Nabeela’s is responsible for managing cash flow for the group, completing monthly management accounts and finance reports for senior management, and responding to finance and payroll queries.

Nabeela joined E.R.E Property in 2020 and is an experienced accountant having held management accountant roles at Allseas Global Logistics, Think Money and One Advice. She studied Business Studies with Financial Management at the University of Salford and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

What do you like about E.R.E Property?
“The challenges. We moved accounting systems, we’ve expanded, and we’ve let go of a subsidiary. There’s a lot of due diligence that goes with that. Each day is never the same. I’m continually learning and growing with the company.”

What do you like doing outside of work?
“I’d love to be a mountain climber but there’s nothing particularly adventurous that I do. I just love to read and go for walks in scenic places.”
